PTET 2019 Notification, Exam Date, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus


PTET 2019 exam date will indefinitely be held on second Sunday of the next year’s May. So, as of now, there is almost an academic year for the students. Do you all know actually for what does this PTET stands for and what is the role of this examination?

PTET 2019 Exam Date & Introduction

PTET 2019PTET is a short form of Pre Teachers Education Test. Now, to become a teacher, aspirants need to qualify an examination going to be held for the recruitment on the basis of which, selections will be made. So, there are a number of eligibility terms in which, the candidate need to possess the required educational qualifications. And for teacher, B.Ed is the prior most course necessary for all.

There are a number of colleges that offers Bachelor of Education course and in Rajasthan, to provide admissions to that colleges provided through this test. Those who will qualify the PTET 2019 exam will be able to pursue two year B.Ed course or integrated B.Sc B.Ed/ B.A B.Ed course.

Still, if our team would like the work hard to get information regarding the upcoming examination, then it is next to impossible as the authority has not made announcement yet. A notification will be issued in the February month and PTET exam date 2019 will be given on that notice.

PTET Eligibility Criteria 2019

You are interested in the examination or not, it does not matters. The first fact that authority believes in – “a student needs to be eligible first”. Many aspirants skip the main proceedings and directly apply for the examination which should be happened. If he/ she found ineligible, then the application would be rejected. Age Limit: The administration has settled 21 years as the maximum age limit. Those who are having age higher than this, cannot apply for the same.
For B.Ed course Only:- For Integradate BA B.Ed/ B.Sc B.Ed
Educational Qualifications: This portion differs for B.Ed only and integrated courses.
  • Applicant must have completed the graduation degree or master’s degree with a minimum aggregation of 50% marks from any of the recognised institutions.
  • SC/ ST/ Special Backward Classes/ OBC/ Physically Handicapped or Widows or Divorcee women candidates need aggregation of 45% marks.
  • Those who are appearing for the final year this year can also apply but they need to show the passing certificate before the PTET 2019 counselling.
  • Students gonna apply for this course need a passing certificate of 12th standard/ Higher secondary education with the minimum of 50% marks from any of the certificate Boards.
  • For reserved category students, there is a relaxation in percentage of marks of 5%. It means, 45 percent marks will be required.
  • Those who have examinations in 2019 can also apply but they need to show their results before the counselling procedure flags off.

PTET Application Form 2019

Online applications for the Pre Teachers Education can be submitted from third or fourth week of January.

  • Applicants will have to submit their applications before the last date which would be scheduled in February.
  • In 2018, the Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University conducted the examination and still, it is not clarified whether the same institution will organise the test or not.
  • A new website would be formed for the PTET 2019 exam.
  • Candidates would be required to submit their forms using the online methods.
  • Candidates will have to make the fee payment as per the methods will be prescribed by the officials.

PTET Exam Pattern 2019

Only objective type questions would be asked in the exam. Candidates will have to choose one of the multiple choices. Maximum marks for the examination are 600 and each question will carry three marks. Aspirants need to answer questions within the duration of three hours.

PTET Syllabus 2019

Pre Teachers Education Test consists of four sections in the PTET 2019 syllabus and these all are to check out the teaching abilities of a student. Thus, check this out:-

General Awareness: Knowledge about Rajasthan, India and its natural resources, Current Affairs (National and International), Indian History and Culture, Environment Awareness, Great Indian Personalities etc.

Mental Ability: Generalization, Creative Thinking, Reasoning, and Drawing Inferences, Decision Making, Imagination, Judgement etc.

Language Proficiency: (English or Hindi): Functional Grammer, Vocabulary, Comprehension, Structures etc.

Teacher Attitude & Aptitude Test: Awareness, Social Maturity, Interpersonal Relations, Professional Commitment, Leadership, Communication etc.
